ON REPATRIATION OF KOREAS IN JAPAN, RHEE'S DISRUPTIVE SCHEME CONDEMNED.

Nhan Dan today strongly condemns the attempts of the Rhee Government to hinder the repatriation to North Korea of Korean nationals in Japan.
Soon after the Japanese government had reachedits dicision on this matter, Nhan Dan notes, the Rhee Government alerted its naval and air forces with no other purpose than that of preventing transport of the repatriates.
The Japanese government's decision, the paper says, was not taken accidentally. This results from a persistent struggle waged by the Koreans in Japan and the Korean Democratic People's Republic government, a struggle which enjoys the firm support of the Japanese people and the sympathy of broad public opinion the world over.
Nhan Dan states that such a decision does not at all please the Rhee Government, which has long nurtered evil designs concerning the Korean residents in Japan. Its threat of preventing the latter's repatriation, the paper says, has laid bare its cruel design to harm the hundreds of thousands of Koreans who have been leading a miserable life in Japan.
The Vietnamese people, Nhan Dan says, hold that the Korean residents in Japan, like foreign residents in any other country, should be guarangeed their legitimate right to choose freely their place of residence, and to be repatriated in accordance with their desire.
