Footnote: At least 80% of our disbursements are paid to beneficiaires residing in provincial areas located outside the metropolitan Manila area, Monthly payments are made in all 50 provinces and checks are directed to at least 15,000 of the 25,800 barrios throughout the islands, The expenditures cited above are paid to approximately 10,000 live veterans, 605,000 widows, 35,000 parents and 14,000 children. It can be seen that these benefits are channeled into the economic lifeline of practically all communities.
