RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE ON VESSELS
The 19th meeting of the "Committee on Vessels" was held on 11th of December 1951 at the Japanese Ministry of Transportation.
In answer to the request of the Japanese side at the preceding meeting to discuss and clarify all items of the agenda before complete settlement of any one item, the Korean aide stated that they felt adopting of such a procedure was premature, but they would agree to discuss for the time being agenda (a) and (c) either separately or simultaneously.
The Japanese side agreed to the Korean aide proposal of discussing agenda (a) and (c) simultaneously.
The Korean side presented their "Additional List of Vessels Registered in Korea" with the statement that this list covers those vessels registered in Korea presently under the Japanese custody which were missing from the list submitted by the Japanese side on the 11th meeting. A copy of the Korean side "Additional List" is attached hereto and make a part hereof.
The Korean side proposed a working sub-committee be appointed to concentrate on the problem of fishing vessels involved in the committee discussion and furnish details of their findings to the parent committee.
The Japanese aide stated that they would consider the proposal and give their views at the next meeting.
