Korean registry ships or vessels fall under the following 11 categories:
1. Ownd uirectly by the former Government-General.
2. Owned directly by a local Government of Korea.
3. Owned directly by an agency thereof above.
4. Owned directly by a Korean non-profit corporation.
5. Owned directly by a Korean company or business organization. 6. Owned by a Korean private person.
7. Owned by a Japanese company with head office in Korea.
8. Owned directly by a Korean non-profit corporation, except Paragraphs 4 & 5 (held by some Japanese interests on August 1945).
9. Owned directly by a Korean business organization or company except paragraph 8. (held by some Japanese interests on August 1945).
10. Owned by a Japanese company with branch office in Korea.
11. Owned by Japanese private person.
