JOINT COMMUNIQUE
As a result of the discussion which has been conducted between both sides since April 15, 1958, the Delegation of the Republic of Korea and Japan to the Fourth Korea-Japan Overall Talks reached an agreement in principle with regard to the problems on the mass repatriation of Korean residents in Japan and their resettlement in the Republic of Korea and also on the treatment of the Korean residents in Japan while remaining in Japan
