재일한인 문제에 관한 건
On November 27, 1959, U.S. Ambassador MacArthur suggested to Ambassador Yiu a plan for settlement of issues immediately pending between Korea and Japan. After a series of informal talks with high officials of the Japanese Government, Ambassador Yiu and Delegate Yu thought it necessary for them to make personal consultation with the Government in Seoul.
Accordingly, Dr. Yu, Chief Mumber of our side at THE COMMITTEE ON the Problem of Korean Residents in Japan, returned to Seoul on November 30, 1959. Immediately after Dr. Yu's coming home, a meeting was held at Vice-Foreign Minister's office with attendance of Chief Delegate Huh and Delegate Chang, and Dr. Yu briefed his findings and summarized the problems for consultation with the Government.
The enclosed paper is summary of Delegate Yu's consultation with the Ministry for government consideration.
