SUBJECT: Reorganization of Korean Mail S.S. Company. Ltd.
1. Reference is made to:
a. Memorandum for the Japanese Government, file AG 602(17 Nov. 48) CPC/FP, SCAPIN 1965/2, 1 June 1949, subject, “Disposition of property in Japan of Companies or Persons with Head Offices in areas Formerly Occupied by the Japanese,” from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers.
b. PCO 2073/50 (FI/CU), 29 November 1950, subject, “Application for Approval of Liquidation Program under Article 17 of the Cabinet Order No. 291 of 1949.”

2. Application submitted under reference 1b above is approved.
3. Shares of stock in the reorganized company that are due closed institutions and restricted concerns must be presented to closed Institutions Liquidation Commission and holding Company Liquidation Commission with an employee purchase plan; divideds due branches in Japan subject to liquidation reorganization under Ordinance No. 291 may be paid in stock to reorganized companies and in cash to those liquidating; shares due now-resident Japanese concerns must be issued and held in the treasury of the new company for future claimants.
