I have the Honour to aclmcwledge receipt of your letter of 22th January, in which you are good enogh to furnish an explanation of your Government's views on the subject of the "conservation line", as to which I had addressed you on 12th January.
I am of course sending a copy of your letter Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Forel Affairs for the information of Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom.
