The first meeting of the Committee on Korean Claims was held at 10.30 am on May 20, 1958 at the Japanese Foreign Office. At this meeting both sides introduced their respective members of delegations.

Second meeting of committee on Korean Claims was held at ten thirty on May 27 at Japanese Foreign Office. At this meeting both sides exchanged views on how third session of sub committee works.

Third session of the committee of Korean claims was held at 3 pm on May 29. At this meeting, it was agreed that the first meetings of sub-committee on claims and sub-committee on vessels would be held on Jane 4 and 6, 1958, respectively. It was further agreed that the probelem on Korean art objects would be taken up first at sub-comittee on claims. In this connection both sides agreed that each side would have two chief members at the sub-Committee on claims in the course of discussion on art objects, minister yiu would head it for our side and Mr. Itagaki for Japanese side while yr. Lee 40 would head our side and Mr. Shoji, Japanese side when other claims would be discussed at the sub-committee letter will follow for details.
