The 5th Session of the Committee on Fisheries and Peace Line was held at 3p.m. on November 28, 1958 at the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
At this meeting, the Japanese side submitted "Gist of the Draft of Japan-Korea Provisional Fisheries' Agreement". Reserving our views and questionnaire regarding the Gist mentioned above until next Session, our side stated that the Japanese idea as expressed in the said gist was too far from the Korean view.
Minister Yiu will bring the text of the Gist with him and make a detailed report in person regarding the proceeding of the Session upon his arrival in Seoul on Monday, December 1.
