MEMORANDUM
The two Governments have agreed on the following procedures concerning Japanese fishermen detained in Korea and Korean residents in Japan ordered for deportation:
(1) The Japanese Government will release in Japan those Koreans who have been residing in Japan since prior to the end of war and who have been detained for deportation at the Aliens Detention Camps of Japan.
(2) The Korean Government will return the Japanese fishermen who have served their sentences and are detained at the Aliens Concentration Camp of Korea; and will accept the deportation of the Korean illegal entrants who have entered Japan since August 15, 1945.
(3) The prevent nemorandum will come into force as from ,1957.
