My Lord,
Since writing my preceding dispatch, I have seen the Due Decazes and His Excellency threw out the following suggestion, viz whether it would not be well to attempt to get at Corea through China, and to try and persuade the Chinese Government to influence that of Corea to extend the Treaty with Japan to other nations.
