Your Excellency:
On Friday, October 16th, I held a reception to which were invited officials from the United Nations and Geneva, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps, the ICRC and the League of Red Cross Societies and the Press Corps. Some 200 people were present.
I had hoped to have this reception much earlier, but was waiting until we found an office. But as we could not wait indefinitely, we held this reception at the Hotel des Bergues here in Geneva.
The reception was very successful. Amongst those attending were Mr. Spenelli, Director of the United Nations European Office, Mr. Bossier and all other committee members of the ICRC and all the staff of the League of Red Cross Societies. During the reception, Mr. Schaeffer, official of the League of Red Cross Societies, told Dr. Junod that all Red Cross Scoieties should support ROK.
I think that all who attended were very happy and that our first reception was a real success.
