I talked on Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Yamada at the Foreign Ministry at 4:00 p.m. August 7 as was scheduled and had talks with him until 5:40 p.m..
At this meetings, discussions were made to decide the date of the resumption of the overall talks and the date of the Opening of Working Committee for the implementation of the mutual repatriation. Thus, it was decided that the overall talks would be resumed on the morning of August 12 and that the Working Committee would be opened on the afternoon of the same days as was instructed by the Government through telephone this afternoon, For details my letter report will follow via Monday pouch.
