Southern Wall of the Antechamber (Western Section) - Detailed View of the Ceremonial Band
zoom

This is a detailed view of the most well-preserved figure (far right) among the ceremonial band depicted on the western section of the southern antechamber wall. The official hat on this figure's head is an indication that this musician is male. This musician is wearing a Durumagi (traditional Korean overcoat) featuring Seons (accents on garments mimicking the black feathers on a crane’s neck or wingtips, influenced by Siberian shamanism) on the neckline and sleeves. A white waistband is clearly visible, and the red highlights on his Durumagi accentuate the folds in the fabric. This image is considered a valuable resource for understanding the diverse character expressions depicted in Anak Tomb No. 3.
