This is the mural painted on the side of the fourth stone prop of the eastern wall. The fourth stone prop is the final triangular stone slab utilized to fill the void in the ceiling.
The auspicious animal in the image resembles the Beast-faced Ethereal Bird and is speculated to be Man-se (literally ten thousand years). Man-se is typically paired with Cheon-chu (literally a thousand autumns) and symbolizes longevity. Man-se is an auspicious animal that appears frequently in Daoist murals. Cement repairs can be seen on the right side edge of the wall.
