Cassiopeia on the ceiling of the antechamber (western wall)
This is a detailed view of Cassiopeia on the ceiling of the antechamber (western wall) in Tokhung-ri Tomb. The constellation Cassiopeia resembles the letter W. Cassiopeia is a very well-known constellation as it's easily identifiable with the naked eye. Interestingly, Cassiopeia is not documented in Chinese records. This important fact is evidence that Koguryo possessed astronomical knowledge independent from China.
