This is a detailed view of Youzhou Provincial Governor Jin’s portrait on the northern wall of the main chamber in Tokhung-ri Tomb. Youzhou Provincial Governor Jin can be seen sitting under an elegant pavilion featuring flaming Baozhu (lotus bud-shaped bead) decorations. This portrait depicts Jin sitting on a wooden platform finished in black lacquer, and he looks essentially the same as the portrait in the antechamber. Four valets can be seen to the left of Jin. The empty space to his right was reserved for the First Lady. This area was likely left blank because his wife was still alive at the time of the tomb's completion. Although this portrait is incomplete, the use of this husband-and-wife portrait configuration becomes more prominent in Koguryo era tomb murals. This portrait in Tokhung-ri Tomb mural is essentially the trend-setter for this practice.
