Published after World War II at a scale of 1:2,250,000, this map is in English. It was intended for use for educational purposes by the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, or Chongryon, and its affiliate organizations. The map marks Pyeongyang as the capital, with North Korean administrative units such as Jagang and Yanggang provinces indicated in detail. The name of the sea east of the Korean Peninsula is marked as both the East Sea and the Sea of Japan, which is considered to have been a diplomatic consideration.
