This is a detailed view of Mercury on the ceiling of the antechamber (northern wall) in Tokhung-ri Tomb. Unlike Saturn, which is depicted in green and red, Mercury was rendered with only one red circle. Therefore, the green belt painted around Saturn can be interpreted to be the planet's beautiful ring. This is invaluable evidence that people of Koguryo had an accurate perception of Saturn. Mercury is depicted to be much smaller than Saturn.
