An extravagant silk pavilion can be seen in the portrait of the deceased in the western auxiliary chamber of Anak Tomb No. 3. The rectangular pavilion is raised over a wooden platform. The pavilion is extravagantly decorated with lotuses and tassels, and the front screen raised and tied up using red silk straps. Lotus flowers can be seen at the peak and corners of the pavilion. The central lotus is in full bloom while the corners feature lotus buds. The corner lotus buds feature Y-shaped red lines with black dots on either side. All lotuses feature elegantly curved black sepals that support the flower. Remarkably, the lotuses' white backgrounds, red outlines, and black sepals are incredibly vivid considering 1700 years have passed since their creation.
