This mural is painted on the eastern wall of the entrance passage in Tokhung-ri Tomb. The murals of this area have suffered the most deterioration, and the contents are extremely difficult to discern. A closer look at the mural remains reveals depictions of two to three standing figures, a lotus, and a monster resembling a lion. The lotus symbolizes rebirth in Buddhism, and the lion is a guardian of Buddhist laws or teachings. These elements are evidence of the deceased's Buddhist views of the world.
