This data is from Appendix 2 of an investigation into forced mobilization of the Hashima Coal Mine through death registers. Records of oral statements from 15 surviving victims of the Hashima Coal Mine heard during the committee's investigation are included. To protect personal information, the committee redacted the middle character of the names of the individuals. The experiences of the survivors show the harsh working conditions and the realities of the forced labor in the Hashima Coal Mine.
