These are detailed views of the cloud patterns on the ceiling of the antechamber (southern wall) in Tokhung-ri Tomb. As the ceilings of mural tomb symbolize the heavens, they are generally decorated with the Sun, Moon, and Stars & celestial objects, immortals, and auspicious animals. Clouds also appear frequently on the ceilings of tomb murals as they symbolize the sky and the heavens. The cloud patterns in the image were vividly expressed in the five cardinal colors to enhance the auspicious atmosphere.
