Title | Eastern Wall of the Eastern Gallery - Procession - Equestrian | ||
---|---|---|---|
This is a detailed view of the mounted civil servant depicted on the eastern gallery wall in Anak Tomb No. 3. He is the only civil servant among the attendants trailing behind the nobleman's carriage. This figure's black Chaek (headwear) indicates his identity. Official hats with the tops split in the back and curving forward were worn by civil servants. He can be seen wearing a robe-like Durumagi (traditional Korean overcoat).
