Eastern Wall of the Eastern Gallery - Procession – Cavalrymen Carrying Sunshade
This is a detailed view of the cavalryman carrying a sunshade on the eastern gallery wall in Anak Tomb No. 3. Sunshades were used by nobles in ancient times for sun protection, similar to modern-day parasols. The sunshade appears near the end of the procession to be ready for use when the nobleman disembarked from the carriage.
