This is a detailed view of the maids depicted on the eastern gallery wall in Anak Tomb No. 3. The primary role of these maids is to augment the excitement created by the ceremonial band surrounding the nobleman's carriage. The maids in the image can be seen at the rear of the procession. They are wearing hairstyles that are split, raised, and tied up with red silk straps. Red Jeols (ceremonial flag featuring pompons) can be seen in each of their hands. The maids' skirts feature red polka dots that are still very vivid.
